1. Question :Where are your classes located? Our classes are at The Cedar Hill Recreation Center
310 E Parkerville, Rd Cedar Hill, TX 75104
2. Question: How do I register my student? You may pre-register your student on our website. This only temporary and will only hold your student a spot in class for a week. Space is limited. You must complete your registration and pay your tuition at the front desk of Cedar Hill Recreation Center. Let them know you need to register your student and they will be happy to assist you.
3. Question: How much is tuition? Tuition is $45.00/month for both cheer and dance classes. Their is a registration fee of $30.00, this tuitios also includes tumbling. All Tuition payments only must be made to the Cedar Hill Recreation Center. Registration fees, uniform fees ,competition fees and other related fees are paid directly to the directors. Coaches nor parents are able to accept payments for tuition, due to safety and contractual reasons with the City.
4. Question: Is their a sibling discount? Yes, their is a discount for siblings. Please make sure you let the front desk associate know at the Center that you need to pay the sibling discounted rate. There is a $5.00 off discount for multiple siblings.
5. Question: How much are the uniforms. ? For Cheer the information will be provided on the 1st day of class. A parent program guide will be provided in new parent orientation on the first day of class. For the season the uniforms for Purple/Gold Team are approx. $300.00 for the season and approx. $260 for mini pom/cheer.
6. Question: When are tuition payments due? Payments must be made each month to the Cedar Hill Recreation Center by the 1st of the month. Payments can be made by cash, check, or major credit card. After the 5th a $5.00 LATE FEE will be applied to all tuition paid to the Cedar Hill Recreation Center. If the parent or responsible party has not paid by the 10th of the month. The student will automatically be dropped from the roll and unable to attend class, until the over due balance has been paid.
7. Question: Does my child have to tryout to be on the competitive or show team? No,All Students will be placed on a perspective squad based on age, ability and skill level. An assessment will be given,to determine what level your student is on. Their is place for everyone to be an "all star".
8. Question: What times are classes? For the Junior (Gold team) (ages 8-12) and Varsity (purple team) squads(13-18) for all classes whether, competitive, non-competitive and show , practices are on every Monday and Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm. For the mini/pom classes ages 4-8yrs of age practices are on every Tuesday from 6pm-7pm. Saturday Dance classes (ages 11-18) are from 10am-12noon All of our students compete in cheerleading and specialty groups for dance/pom this year only.
9. Question: Does tuition include the uniform? No, tuition does not include uniforms or costumes, Parents are responsible for purchasing uniforms, and costumes required.
10. Question: Does tuition include competiton fees?No, tuition does not include competition fees, Parents are responsible for the competition fees, the cost is contigent on the event and the event producer hosting the event the fees can range from $55-$142 per person for the event.
11. Question: Is your program only at certain times during the year? No we are a year-round program. We are closed on major holidays, center closings ,Yadah company competitions and events outside of practice and certain days that the Cedar Hill Ind. School District is closed.
12. Question: Do you have fundraisers? Yes, we do have individual and team fundraisers , should parents want to participate to help defray the cost of uniforms, tuition and competion fees throughout the year.
13. Question: Do you offer before and after care services? At this time , we do not offer before or after care services.
14. Question: Iam not sure if your program is for my student, do you allow a trial class? Yes, Yadah Cheer and Dance does offer a free trial class, Please visit the section below that says "free trial class" fill it out and we will confirm your reservation.
15. Question: Are you practices open to the public? No at this time, our classes are closed to public viewing and are not open to view ,Parents may sit in class during the free trail class only. This is due to distractions, safety reasons, and respect of our coaches and students.
16. Queston: Where do you compete ? at this time we compete locally in the State of Texas. Please see the section about competiton information for dates.
17. Question: If I decide to drop my student ,will my tution be prorated or refunded? At this time, tuition, fees, uniforms are not refundable at any time. Cedar Hill Recreation Center, nor Yadah Cheer and Dance does not offer refunds of any kind. We advise parents to consider the cost, before making the decision to enroll their student.
18. Question: Do you have online payment system? Tuition can be made online at the City of Cedar Hills website. You must obtain your pin number and password from the front desk of the Recration Center. Due to imperfections in the system, you must let Yadah Cheer and Dance Theater know your payment has been made online, so that we can make sure your receive the proper credit for our class in person or by email. The system does not distinguish what class the tuition is for.
19. Question: Does your organization offer scholarships to students who cannot afford tuition? At this time, since we a small gym, scholarships are not being awarded at this time. But we hope to offer scholarships in the future for those who cannot afford tution .
20. Question: Are your squads available to perform at events? yes, we are available to perform at games, and certain events. Please contact our office or send an email to our office at admin@yadahcheeranddance.com. Our office will contact you regarding the venue and more information.
